Granberg G1012XT Precision Grinder

The Granberg G1012XT Precision Grinder is a 12V bar-mounted chainsaw sharpener built for accurate, repeatable sharpening when a quick touch-up with a file is not enough. The G1012 was the first handheld 12-volt chainsaw sharpener bought to the market and remains the industry standard. 

Designed for all chainsaw chain types, including cross-cut, ripping and skip-tooth chains, it gives all chainsaw users a controlled way to restore a proper edge without pulling the chain off the bar.

Bar-mounted sharpening

The G1012XT mounts directly to your chainsaw bar and allows adjustment of the sharpening angle, file height and tooth length. That means cleaner, more consistent sharpening across the chain, not the “close enough” job that usually comes after a long day and a blunt saw.

Depth gauge adjustment

The built-in depth-gauge lowering feature allows you to set the raker height accurately, helping maintain proper chain performance and smoother cutting.

12V powered grinder

Powered by a 12V motor running at 24,000 RPM, the G1012XT is designed for users who want speed, accuracy, and consistency in their chain sharpening.
